What the site is, and is not
Chik Dorjé is an independent, sourced guide to hair-loss treatments and research (other areas of care are planned), with a directory of clinicians and, if you create an account, a private list of the treatments you follow.
Chik Dorjé is preparing an online service for cosmetic and everyday health care in the United States, starting with hair loss and planned to grow into skin, sexual health and weight care, with a shop for beauty products and supplements. In the care service, independent licensed clinicians make prescribing decisions and licensed pharmacy partners dispense, both under contract with us. That service is not open yet. Today the site gives general information only. Until it opens, we do not sell or supply medicines or treatments, take orders for them, take bookings or take payments. We ourselves are not a pharmacy, a prescriber or a clinic, and we do not give medical advice. To confirm: separate terms for the service before it opens. Nothing on the site recommends a treatment for you. The medical disclaimer has the detail.
Accounts
- You need an email address to create an account. Give a correct one, and confirm it when we ask.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. To confirm: with legal advice, how far an account holder is responsible for what happens under their account.
- Do not create an account for another person without their permission.
- We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms, or that puts the site or other people at risk. We will give notice where it is reasonable to do so.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- try to break, probe or get around the site's security, or to reach another person's account or information;
- overload the site, or copy it in bulk with automated tools, in a way that disrupts it. To confirm: whether to allow automated access, and on what terms.
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to send spam;
- pretend to be another person or organisation, including a clinician or a clinic;
- present our content as your own, or as medical advice; or

Our content and other people's content
- Our content. The text, design and organisation of the site belong to To confirm: owner of the site content. You may read it, and print or download parts of it for your own use. To confirm: with legal advice, the licence terms for any other use.
- Sources. The regulators, journals, trial registries and companies we cite own their own material. We summarise it and link to it. We do not claim to own it, and using it may have its own conditions.
- Names. Names and trade marks of treatments, companies and clinics belong to their owners. Mentioning one is not an endorsement, and does not mean we are connected to it.
- Your information. We use what you give us only as the privacy policy describes.
Links to other websites
We link to sources and to clinics' own pages. We do not control those sites, and we are not responsible for what is on them or for their services. A link is not an endorsement.
The clinician directory
- A listing is not an endorsement or a referral, and we do not say that a clinician or clinic is suitable for you. Check that a practitioner is registered, and right for you, before you book.
- We do not take bookings, payments or patient details. A booking is between you and the clinic, on their own website. We are not a party to it.
- Listings marked as demonstration listings are fictional and do not describe real people.
- If a listing is ever paid for or sponsored, it will be labelled as such and never presented as clinical superiority.
- Clinicians can ask us to correct or remove their listing. See Contact us.
Heidi, the AI site guide
Heidi is a chat box that helps you find your way around the site and fill in its forms. Her answers are written by an AI model and can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important against the page she points you to. She does not give medical advice, and nothing she says is a diagnosis, a recommendation of a treatment or a substitute for a clinician. Please do not share personal or health details with her. The privacy policy explains what happens to your messages.
Features that are switched off
Some features are planned but are not available: personal treatment records, progress photos, sharing with a clinician, an AI assistant beyond Heidi, the site guide, community posts and public sharing, payments, and email alerts. Before any of them is switched on, we will update these terms and the privacy policy, and further terms may apply to it.
Availability and changes to the site
The site is still being built. We may change, pause or remove any feature or content, and the site may be unavailable from time to time. We make no promise that it will always be available or free of errors. If you want a copy of what we hold about your account, you can download it in Settings.
Limits on our responsibility
We work to keep the information on the site sourced and accurate, but we make no promise that it is complete, current or free of error. You use it at your own risk, and you should not rely on it in place of advice from a qualified health professional. You can stop using the site at any time. You can delete your account and its data yourself in Settings, and the privacy policy says what is removed and when. We may suspend or close an account as set out in Accounts. The parts of these terms that are meant to continue after an account ends, such as Limits on our responsibility, continue.
